Curtis Tucker

Pastor- Teaching and Leadership

I am so thankful that Jesus said, “I will build My church” (Matt. 16:18), and that He said, “I am with you always.”(Matt 28:20) The longer I am here at RCC I gain more clarity and direction for ministry. I am here to pray and minister the Word…in season and out of season (Acts 6:4; 2 Tim. 4:2)! This is my main contribution to the commission to “make disciples.”

Serving at Redmond Community Church since 2000, his love for preaching the Word greatly benefits our congregation, helping us grasp the simple truths of God's teachings. Curtis holds a Masters of Divinity from Western Seminary. He likes to interact with people, and welcomes the chance to get together and talk scripture and discuss the Christian life.

You may be surprised to know that in high school Curtis lettered - in surfing! Now he enjoys golf, fishing, and spending time with his boys Carson and Cooper.

Pastor Curtis likens church to a filling station: "you come in you get filled up and you go out. If you are looking for a place to fill up, a place to love and be loved, a place to serve and be served…so that you can be effective as you go (Matt 28:19); RCC may be the place for you. Come join us."

Michael Kuhlman

Pastor- Worship and Communications

Michael has been serving as Worship and Communications Pastor at Redmond Community Church since September 2005. He earned a BS Degree in 1990 from Liberty University in Sacred Music: Church Music Administration and has been serving in Worship Ministry ever since.

It has been a joy for him to lead such a committed and talented group of musicians who truly worship God from their hearts and desire to provide an atmosphere that inspires others to do the same.

He enjoys playing basketball, and watching movies with intriguing story lines. He has lived in Central Oregon before- when he was 8 his dad moved the family to Bend to start a small community bank named Bank Of The Cascades.

Michael enjoys sharing life with his wife, Kristin (whom he has known since she was four). He has two adult children- Mandie and Jeff and two teenagers- Emma, and Josh.

Matt White

Youth Pastor

Matt has been serving at Redmond Community Church since June 2013. He earned a para-medicine degree in 2010 from COCC and a Biblical Diploma from Ecola Bible school in 2011.

An interesting fact about Matt is that he is an archery elk hunting guide in Montana. He loves being outdoors and enjoying the beautiful Central Oregon landscape that he grew up in. Matt loves doing ministry with his wife, Marissa who recently gave birth to a baby boy named Owen.

Matt’s desire is to disciple boys into men. He is passionate about coming alongside his students and living life with them. His motto of ministry is “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care”.

An Oregon native, he has a Technical Degree, over 40 years of Business Administration experience, and a wealth of construction and mechanical knowledge.

On the ministry side – Mike has experience as a Pastor and a Teaching elder as well as service in several Christian and Civic organizations. He is characteristically the “go to” guy at RCC when questions are looking for answers.

Mike and his wife Marilyn live on a small ranch west of Redmond where they are often joined by their three daughters and their husbands, as well as numerous grandchildren.
